Another go at overheating problem. This clean out has reduced the temperature indication somewhat. During engine runs indication of fuel starvation, engine losing revs. Hmmm, hope its not a sign of more significant trouble. Changed diesel filter and despite erratic rpm it seems to settle down OK. Need some more thought and engine test runs. Oh brother, its a pain to bottom this out.
