The trip down was not too bad, no rain thank goodness so the missing back screen did not fill the boot up with water. Fairly noisy and chilly driving plus an awareness of possible CO poisoning kept one alert. Ferry was like a ghost town, perhaps 20 people in public areas. Looks like shops limited opening times (don’t know that this is a good idea, after all if people need to go to a shop they will go this increasingly the density). Perhaps to give shop workers ability to child care?
