More or less four hours from Groningen. Highway diesel 2.40. Coal power stations in Germany emitting steam so guess they are running. In Groningen many gas installations are visible on the ground. Had a pleasant time with Claes, my Swedish friend drinking a few glasses and chewing the fat. I think maybe he ventures further into Holland in the spring. On Saturday we did a tour of the area by car, looking in my case for ocular evidence of building collapse to no avail.
