This story of the development, production and distribution really does have a ring of Empire about it. Developed by devoted, funded, brilliant people in Oxford, the city of dreaming spires, grown in India to vaccinate the world at the lowest possible cost (no profits until all poor countries have been done) and heck, you can’t win a battle like this one without accepting casualties. Given the UK tragic death toll was baked in I guess other countries / trading blocks could usefully learn from its stance on thrombosis and vaccination. I guess rich economy’s like Denmark can afford to be choosy.
