Well, the old one was second hand around ten years ago so it has had a pretty good innings. Took it to bits, did all usual tricks cleaning terminals, check battery pack voltage. No joy, she is destined for the electrical recycling. When eyeing a replacement Mrs Jaap at Lighthouse Sports pointed out the new regulations, VDE5 I think. I will also need to get the fixed VHF reprogrammed to comply. Grrrrr, more money goes out of the door.
