A trip over to Texel and, I have to say, a truly superb Texel Lamb feast. I go for mutton when it’s available, more flavour, but heck this was scrummy! Caught a bit of storm Francis on the way back, Den Oever, Enkhuizen, fairly strong, on the nose, motor sailed with just Genoa, 4-6 knots upwind, 1700 rpm so OK, quite a lot of waves so got under the Lee towards Enkhuizen. Overheat problem continues to be a focus, must put in some effort and work to cure it. Some progress today though with a hosetail adaptor bought (back flushing secondary cooling system). De calc will be next step, depends on descaling material available.
