Ongoing EU UK. negotiations

I cannot help but think the big issues are really not being aired. Energy always was and will be one of the key strategic issues. How will the EU square its own energy generation policies with its requirements in the future? Fusion is not a get out of jail free answer so fission and management of its associated waste seems essential. UK makes some big ambition in this area but policy is still being defined.
