Painting pain

The curtain rail’s proved to be of poor quality, particularly around the 90 degree bends and at the joins so decided to “re-do” them with just straight runs. Dropped curtains off the rails and washed the white ones. Grrrrr, why not paint lounge before re-hanging? Well, it certainly needs doing but it is an absolute bastard of a job; the walls and ceiling have a textured finish that gobbles up paint at an astonishing rate and proves really difficult to get a consistent finish on. Heck, started on the job so will have to see if through, I think it takes another two weeks to complete at the slow rate of progress I make.
