Negative bus installed, led’s fixed, spare joinery stored forepeak, cabling for existing network (nmea2k) examined and mapped out for connection to new Raymarine ng network including, I hope, radar heading data, wind data if existing mast head instrument is serviceable. Bought a single led light yesterday, looking to reduce amperage load. Plugged in, no light. Grrrr. After a bit of thought is the lighting wired +/- or – /+? Led’s only work one way but no, the bulb is US. Ho hum, I’ll ask for a replacement tomorrow. Raining most of the day so good for inside work. And Ramnav say they can do reprogramming of radio with new ID codes (MMSI & ATIS) so I’ll drop that off tomorrow. Still cabling to tidy and cable clip but that is the heavy lifting done on low amperage 12V.
