Stainless mesh left over from another project, stitched with stainless seizing wire. Only down side when overhauling system is the rather long, rather thin copper tube which is soldered in place at the cap. I think it will probably bend with fuel sloshing about. The filter will, probably, amplify the bending moment. Still, the previous, failed, soldered brass gauze was bigger. Decisions, decisions.
