I had hoped my friend Aris would join but his doctor said no! That’s life, my next mistake approaching Haringvliet brug found out next opening 18:00 not in the hour as shown on the fairway information website. That site seems to be wrong more often these days. No problem, I go into Willemstad and enjoy a meal out, a treat I hope to be able to do more often these days (plus not much to eat on board)!
Arrived Willemstad 18:30 after sitting on a mooring ball for two hours waiting for bridge. Now moored in inner Hafen, pumpkin soup and a sort of chicken stew coming along with a glass of Rioja! Happy days plus an overhead heater. Why do people not come here in autumn? Space, today at least beautiful weather.
