A snag

Bara Vi went into the water 23rd April and today I planned sailing with a friend Eimert. Checked oil level in saildrive leg (something I will remember, I didn’t check before putting in) and gulp, it’s milky. It means water has got into the oil. The “drive” pokes down deep under the boat and drives the propellor, quite a lot of gears in here. In any event it rather puts the kibosh on my plan for a leisurely yacht about.

Two seals need changing, maybe bearing, we’ll see. Yard are maxed out with proper (big boats, ones that pay better money) and it looks like the week after next to be ashore again.

I’ll write some more soon, strikes me I have time for a few other jobet’s.
