Ally arrived Friday from Delft and we departed the next morning around 1000 accompanied by some heavy rain, fortunately in brief showers. Pleasant sail up to Vollendam into which harbour we looked. Booming rock music and a fun fair! No, headed down to Monickendam and found space in the Waterland marina. All good, a Thai meal sported by Ally with a overlong wait for service. Sunday, an early ish departure and initially a bit breezy. Soon turned into a sunny day and breeze fell away so had to motor last bit to marina.
